Chris McArthur has assisted at Destiny training sessions from the begining and continues to provide assistance to the North Star Library Consortium members. Chris is the media specialist for the Waubun-Ogema schools and says she still learns a lot each time she attends a Destiny training.

Instant Messaging with web-based software!

There are web-based tools that allow you to use IM without having to install software. A popular favorite is Meebo. It allows users to access their AIM, Yahoo!, MSN, Google Talk, ICQ or Jabber accounts, without needing to install any software. And it’s free!

No need to download software on library computers; no need to prohibit users from using instant messaging on library computers.
